This award is for the best multi-chapter story that depicts a romantic relationship between an adult slayer and a crossover character who is much (decades) older than she is. Or the reverse. The relationship needs to be an important part of the story. No robots, vampires, elves, or other "immortals" need apply. Examples: Faith/Snape, Kendra/Madam Hooch, Buffy/Emily Gilmore. No PWP fics.

The crossover stories submitted should feature BtVS/AtS character death in all its shiny, brilliant glory, but the character(s) that die must stay dead; redos, bring backs and resurrections need not apply.

This award is for that story, the one that you really weren't sure about when you clicked on it...whether it was because of the crossover fandom, the pairing (or lack of), the author, but despite all that you stuck with the story and surprise, surprise, it was awesome.

This award doesn't care about blood and gore and screaming girls in underwear. It cares about how much the story screws with your head and makes you want to lock your doors and windows at night, just to be sure.

This award is looking for true gems amidst the pile of Halloween fics. The story must include at least one character who retains the memory and/or characteristics of the costume they wore on Halloween.

This award is for the best written slash pairing depicted in a multi-chapter story.

This award is for the best "End of the World" story. The catch is that the end of the world has to happen. It could be an apocalyptic event that changes the world as we know it or it could be the more classic destruction of everything that exists type.

Nominees must be listed on the FFA page as a completed pairing. If you are nominating an FFA that is in a ficlet collection, please specify the chapter you are nominating in the additional information box when nominating. The FFA 'story' must be complete, although it may be in an incomplete ficlet collection, and it must have been finished after 1 Jan 2009 and before 1 Jun 2010.

Any complete story rated FR-21 for sexual content may be nominated (crossovers or non-crossovers acceptable).
