Judge's Citation: Marcus has crafted a truly enjoyable story with Omphalos. The story is compelling, the characterization is spot-on, and the lovely bits of humor scattered throughout match both the BtVS and DS9 universes well. I've read quite a few Dawn stories that focus on The Key, and what exactly it means for Dawn to be it. Marcus's take on it is a fascinating one, and one that I highly recommend to all fans of the character.
